Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using the platform - short, honest, and written for the credit and legal teams who actually sign the agreement.

What the service is

The service is a decision-support platform for agri-lending. It digitizes land records, verifies ownership against available registry and survey data, tracks crop history at parcel level, and generates an explainable loan eligibility score.

The service is not a lender of record. It does not book loans, does not disburse funds, and does not accept credit risk. Final lending decisions remain with the institution operating the workspace.

Who can use the service

The service is licensed to lending institutions and their authorised users - banks, NBFCs, cooperative lenders, and their federations. Workspaces are created for institutional use only, not for individual borrower use.

Accounts, access, and roles

Each institution operates its own workspace. Login credentials are issued to the institution's authorised administrator, who then invites additional roles - loan officer, risk analyst, secretary - from inside the workspace. The institution is responsible for the actions taken by users inside its workspace.

Acceptable use

The service must be used only for legitimate agri-lending activity by the licensed institution. It must not be used to profile individuals outside of a genuine loan application, to redistribute parcel records to unrelated parties, or to reverse-engineer the eligibility scoring model.

Data, ownership, and provenance

The institution owns the verified parcel records for its book. The service retains rights only in the models, code, and platform infrastructure. Every field extracted or scored by the service carries its own provenance so the institution can audit any decision the workspace surfaces.

Availability and support

The service is provided with commercially reasonable availability. Any specific uptime commitments, support windows, or incident response times are set in the master service agreement per institution and per tier.

Fees and billing

Fees are set per tier and per verification volume, as described on the pricing page and finalised in the master service agreement. Enterprise fees are negotiated per contract.

Termination

Either party may terminate under the conditions set in the master service agreement. On termination, records and documents belonging to the institution are removed or returned according to the agreement.

Limitations

The eligibility score is a decision-support signal, not a decision. The service is not responsible for lending decisions made by the institution, its underwriters, or its committees. The service is also not responsible for gaps in third-party registry data outside its control - such gaps are always surfaced on the record, and it is the institution's decision whether to lend on that basis.

Governing law

The service, and any contract for its use, is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts named in the master service agreement.

Changes to these terms

Any material change to these terms will be notified to each institution operating a workspace before the change takes effect. Minor clarifications are made in-place and are visible on this page.
